Ram V Chary says being prepared with the right gear is crucial in capturing amazing images. You won't need much to get you started, but having some UV filters is essential if you plan to take photos of the sea. UV filters protect your lenses from the elements. Another important tool is a neutral density (ND) filter. This is especially helpful for foreground and sky images needing different exposures. In addition, consider bringing a tripod when you need a longer exposure. Finally, you may want to bring a wide-angle or telephoto lens, depending on the photos you want to take.
